One of the worst hotels ever there staff is horrible Anton was the only good person at the front desk they are all ignorant some girl with a name start with a V is terrible they never do anything you ask they don’t put in request and they over charge for whatever they feel is costly

Our room faced a brick wall so was really dark and miserable. The corridor stank of weed and after a few days, we realized no one was dealing with it (did no staff member go on the floor in that time??) and called Reception and asked to be moved as our room stunk and it was horrible. She was great, said she'd smelt it when she came on the floor, and moved us to a higher floor, where thankfully there was light also. No coffee machine/kettle in the room - there is hot water in the basement but no coffee/tea/cups etc (reception didn't tell us there was hot water - we stumbled across it - and contrary to what I'd read elsewhere, they do not give you coffee - we asked and were told no, and were given coffee shops nearby to visit). You have to ask for your room to be cleaned. There are no wardrobes - 6 hanging spaces only - but 2 drawers. Reception don't tell you anything about the room - it has Alexa for example but nothing was said, same with no map etc. Location is great, staff were lovely (especially the two women we dealt with), but it felt kind of like a hostel at times and I think I'd rather pay a bit more and not possibly be stuck in a dark room smelling of weed! Room could do with repainting too - and rugs look a bit old. Judging from past reviews, I think it used to be better but it feels cost cutting is affecting services. I'd definitely ask for a room on the higher floors

This hotel never ceases to provide extraordinary experience every time I visit. During and after covid a great deal of the hotels in the Chicago area seemed to diminish in service and guest care, but Acme has continued to provide stellar service, great room and cool amenities. I travel to the Chicagoland area often and am always excited when I get to stay at this hotel. The coffee shop and bar are great add-ons that solidify a seamless stay. Both the evening and morning staff are excellent and teh location is great. You're in the heart of the action but also tucked away. Do yourself a favor when you book and spend the extra money for one of the suites. Extremely luxurious, yet stylish and it's a great spot to gather and hang out if you're traveling as a group or meeting up with people in the city. I love this hotel. It's my favorite in the city.

Super cute hotel! Our room was clean, bed comfortable, and the shower was especially nice! The water got hot immediately and it had good water pressure. The location seemed great for walking around, there was tons of other places nearby to check out. You gotta check out the Berkshire lounge while you're there. Also, they offer a nice discount for public parking, so be sure to ask about that if you need it

Amazing customer service from Michelle at the front desk! Very comfortable room, spacious and a nice bed. Woke up completely refreshed after a night's stay. Location is great, and the hotel itself has a cool vibe. Cannot think of any reason I wouldn't stay here in Chicago the next time.
